Anvay Dravid, son of Rahul Dravid, will lead Karnataka in this season’s Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Named after the legendary former India all-rounder, the Vinoo Mankad Trophy is India’s premier 50-over cricket tournament for the under-10 age group. The 2025 edition will be held at Dehradun from October 9-17.
Anvay will be the captain and the wicketkeeper for Karnataka. Anvay, 16, is seen as a promising wicketkeeper-batter in the Karnataka circles. He has captained previous age-group teams as well. His elder brother and Dravid’s elder son, Samit, 19, has also represented Karnataka in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy, and is currently vying for a spot in the senior side, while also playing in the Maharaja T20 league.
