Soon after the video went viral on social media, Kiran Raj commented that he was fine and told fans not to worry, adding that he would not have been posting if something had happened to him.
The actor later shared another video to explain what viewers had actually seen.
He shared that the footage was from his training with a lion named
Rocky, and that the purpose of the sessions was to help him become familiar and comfortable around the animal before working with it for the project.
Why Did The Video Cause Panic?
The original clip showed Kiran extremely close to the lion, with the animal appearing to move towards him. The dramatic presentation of the video, including its captions and background music, made the interaction look much more dangerous than a training session.
In his latest video message, Kiran said that this context had led to unnecessary panic and misinformation. He said that the training was being conducted in a safe environment and that appropriate precautions were being taken.
“I would like to clarify: the captions and background music are creating panic and misinformation. The fact is, for the project, I’m training with Rocky, and it’s a very safe atmosphere,” said the actor.
The actor also said he had developed a little bond with Rocky during the training, which he believes has helped him become more comfortable around the animal.
What Did Kiran Raj Say About Training With The Lion?
The video with the lion was from the first day of Kiran’s training, during which he was learning how to interact with lions named Roger and Rocky.
