Vineet Kumar Siingh has kicked off the new year with fresh energy and exciting plans. After a successful 2025 filled with back-to-back hits, including Chhaava, one of his biggest successes, 2026 is starting
with a bang for Vineet. The actor has teamed up with designer-turned-director Vikram Phadnis for a new project. Vineet described the story as “beautiful” and close to his heart, though details are being kept under wraps for now.
Interestingly, this film marks Vikram Phadnis’ debut as a Bollywood director, following his work on several Marathi films. Recently, the Gangs of Wasseypur star shared behind-the-scenes photos from the first day of shooting, featuring the team performing a puja and Vikram guiding scenes on set.
Vineet Kumar Siingh Starts 2026 On A High Note
In the photos and videos shared on Instagram, Vineet Kumar Siingh was seen performing aarti with his co-star Saiyami Kher, while other team members stood behind them. Another clip showed an emotional moment where Vineet looked overwhelmed and hugged filmmaker Vikram Phadnis. More pictures captured the team busy at work, Vikram seated on the director’s chair and preparing for shots on location. Vineet looked excited about the role and shared his happiness as he began this new project.

Vineet Opens Up About His Struggle Days
During Yuvaa’s roundtable show Be A Man, Yaar, Vineet Kumar Siingh spoke about the tough phase of his early career. He shared that, in his struggling days, he had to accept many small and unusual jobs to survive in the industry. Vineet revealed that he even worked as a body double for Suniel Shetty and played background roles that often went unnoticed. For him, those experiences were part of the journey and helped him stay connected to his dream. He explained that the most important thing during such times is to stay strong from within and not give up.
Other than Vineet Kumar Siingh and Saiyami Kher, the untitled Vikram Phadnis directorial also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin and Suchitra Pillai.
