You can’t go to all of them. That is the problem. Between mid-November and the end of January, India has more big-name live shows than most people have free weekends. Rock veterans, electronic headliners, a Punjabi superstar with a stadium and a band with an Indian-influenced album are all on the calendar. Here is the season in order, so you can decide what gets your money.
Diljit Dosanjh AURA Tour
Diljit Dosanjh is taking his AURA India Tour to Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India’s biggest stadium. The announcement was short and to the point: “KEM CHO AHMEDABAD.” The show comes right after his headline set at London’s Wembley Stadium, and it is the Indian leg of the AURA World Tour, which has already been through Europe and North America. He was the first Punjabi
artist to play Coachella, and his concerts have grown into something closer to a shared celebration than a gig. Expect a big stadium show built around the fan favourites, songs from the AURA album and the hits that made him one of India’s biggest live acts. General sale opens tomorrow, Thursday 1 October, at 2pm on BookMyShow, and if his earlier tours are any guide, the best seats will go fast. When: 21 November 2026 | Where: Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad
Shreya Ghoshal
India’s queen of melody is coming home. After sold-out shows across Australia, Asia and North America, Shreya Ghoshal is bringing The Unstoppable Tour to 14 Indian cities. She announced the dates on her official social media, saying she was “Coming home to 14 cities across India”. If you have spent two decades singing along to Sun Raha Hai from Aashiqui 2, Teri Ore or Dola Re Dola, this is your chance to hear them live. Expect an evening of nostalgia and powerhouse vocals, with her multilingual repertoire carrying the night. The tour opens in Bengaluru on 22 November, and the schedule runs through to April, so there is a good chance she plays a city near you.
When and where: 22 November 2026: Bengaluru | 19 December: Guwahati | 26 December: Kolkata | 16 January 2027: Bhubaneswar | 23 January: Visakhapatnam | 30 January: Jaipur | 14 February: New Delhi | 20 February: Hyderabad | 27 February: Ahmedabad | 7 March: Kochi | 13 March: Pune | 20 March: Chennai | 27 March: Mumbai | 3 April: Indore
Guns N’ Roses
More than three decades on, Guns N’ Roses are still one of the toughest live acts around. Their shows are known for towering guitar solos and long, marathon sets, with a setlist full of songs that have become part of rock’s global canon. If Appetite for Destruction was on repeat in your house growing up, this is less a concert than a pilgrimage. Bring earplugs and a good pair of shoes.
When: 14 and 17 November 2026 | Where: NICE Grounds, Bengaluru and Khanapara Ground, Guwahati
Fred again..
This is Fred again..’s India debut, and it is his only scheduled live tour of 2026. His sets are personal and high-energy, and the tracks are reworked as the night goes on, so no two shows sound quite the same. The music draws from his Actual Life series and the USB project. If you like electronic music that feels more like a conversation than a club night, this is the one.
When: 5, 9 and 13 December 2026 | Where: Leisure Valley Ground, Gurugram; Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai; NICE Grounds, Bengaluru
The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers soundtracked the late 2010s, and their songs live on the playlists of millennials and Gen Z alike. Expect a set built around the big ones: Closer, Paris, Don’t Let Me Down, Something Just Like This and Roses, with newer material in between. It is the easiest singalong of the season. You can catch them at Sunburn Mumbai, Sunburn Arena Bengaluru and the Indian Sneaker Festival in Delhi NCR.
When: 18 to 20 December 2026 | Where: Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR
Gorillaz
Gorillaz had the internet buzzing in February with Parvat, their new Indian-influenced album, and now they are bringing it home. The Mountain Tour is a full-circle moment for Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett’s project, and the album features Asha Bhosle and Anoushka Shankar. Live, the set moves between rock, rap, electronic, dub and world music, while Hewlett’s visuals turn the stage into the band’s ever-changing world. Expect new tracks alongside Feel Good Inc., Clint Eastwood, DARE and On Melancholy Hill.
When: 23 to 27 January 2027 | Where: Bengaluru, Mumbai
Foo Fighters
Led by Dave Grohl, Foo Fighters are known for long, high-energy rock sets that don’t let up. Expect Everlong, The Pretender, Best of You, Learn to Fly and My Hero, along with newer material from Your Favorite Toy. Taylor Momsen’s The Pretty Reckless open on both dates, so get there early.
When: 29 to 31 January 2027 | Where: Bengaluru, Mumbai
Lollapalooza India 2027
Olivia Dean is one of four headliners, along with Limp Bizkit, KATSEYE and Fontaines D.C. The two-day, four-stage festival returns for its fifth edition, with more than 40 acts. Among them are 5 Seconds of Summer, Anuv Jain, St. Vincent and Aditya Gadhvi.
When: 23 to 24 January 2027 | Where: Mahalaxmi Racecourse, Mumbai
