This year, one elderly man did exactly that and now his clever costume has everyone online laughing. His outfit is simple, but the idea behind it has made it one of the most talked-about Halloween moments this year.

The Pun That Was Right On Time

A video, shared on Instagram, shows an elderly man enjoying a drink at a Halloween party. At first glance, nothing about his outfit seems special. He is wearing a pullover over a shirt and a pair of jeans. But

then the attention goes to his belt. Instead of wearing it the normal way, he has tucked several wristwatches all around it.

When someone off-camera asks him, “What are you supposed to be, Mr. Andrews?”, he flashes a grin and replies, “I’m a ‘waist’ of time.” The simple but witty wordplay instantly won over everyone at the party, and now the internet too.

The video even declares, “He won Halloween,” and honestly, we couldn’t agree more.
