If you are a Bigg Boss fan, September 6 is going to be one busy Sunday. For the first time, multiple major editions of the franchise are arriving together, with Bigg Boss Hindi 20, Tamil 10, Malayalam 8, Kannada 13 and Telugu 10 all premiering on the same day today.
So, before the houses officially open, here’s a look at the five shows, their hosts and the names reportedly in the mix.
Bigg Boss Hindi 20: Salman Khan Returns
When it comes to Bigg Boss in India, Salman Khan is still the face most viewers associate with the franchise. He is back for Season 20, which premieres on September 6 on Colors TV and JioHotstar.
Names that have appeared in reports include Mahhi Vij, Isha Rikhi, Kushal Tanwar aka Gullu, Arshifa Khan, Kanika Mann and Qazi Touqeer.
Other names that have been part of the rumour mill include Geeta Basra, Jannat Zubair, Mr Faisu, Sunil Pal, Nia Sharma, Pearl V Puri and Showik Chakraborty.
As always, though, the rumour list should be taken with a pinch of salt until Salman introduces the contestants on the premiere.
Bigg Boss Tamil 10: Vijay Sethupathi Is Back
Vijay Sethupathi is returning as the host of Bigg Boss Tamil for the third consecutive season. He took over hosting duties from Kamal Haasan in 2024 and is now gearing up for his third stint with the reality show. Among the names reportedly being considered are Aryan, actor and dancer Puvi Arasu, actor-writer Vinoth Babu, actor Navin Kumar, choreographer Sridhar M, producer Bhargav Ram, film reviewer Prashanth Rangaswamy and content creator Rajpriyan.
Aryan is also known for being the husband of television actor Shabana Shajahan, who was the first runner-up on Cooku With Comali Season 6.
The season has also taken a slightly different route to finding contestants, with The Common Man serving as a pre-show to select commoner participants. Former Bigg Boss contestants Oviya, Aari Arujunan and Raju Jeyamohan were part of the judging panel, while Maya S Krishnan hosted the pre-show.

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: Mohanlal Is Back For Another Season
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is returning as the host of Bigg Boss Malayalam for the eighth consecutive season. The contestant buzz has included names from television, music, social media and public life. Reports have linked Rahul Easwar, Suchitra, Jaseela Parveen, Sreeraj KS aka Kadal Komban, Sreelakshmi Arakkal, Rini Ann George, Gayathri Suresh and Mridhula Vijai to the season.
Rahul Easwar, a public-policy commentator and advocate, is a familiar face from reality television, having previously won Malayalee House. Singer Suchitra is another name that has generated considerable interest among viewers.

Bigg Boss Telugu 10: Nagarjuna Returns For His Eighth Season
Over in Telugu, Nagarjuna Akkineni is returning to host Bigg Boss Telugu 10. This will reportedly be his eighth consecutive season as the face of the show. The rumoured contestant list includes television and film personalities such as Varshini Sounderajan, Chaitra Rai, Mukesh Gowda, Krishnudu, Temper Vamsi, Naresh, Ramprasad, Adith Arun, Debjani Modak and Sudheer Reddy, among other names doing the rounds.
The tenth season comes with the theme ‘Dhasavatharam’.
Bigg Boss Kannada 13: Sudeepa Is Back In The Driver’s Seat
Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeepa is once again taking charge as the host of Bigg Boss Kannada. The contestant rumours have included actress Soundarya Shetty, Pruthvi and actress Rachel David, among other names. Sudeepa recently appeared alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Mohanlal and Nagarjuna in a special promo ahead of the simultaneous South Indian launches.
