Sri Lanka’s opening batter Pathum Nissanka entered his name in the history books on Friday, September 26, by becoming the first batter from his country and the overall third to score a century in Asia Cup T20Is. In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 Super 4s match between India and Sri Lanka in Dubai, Nissanka needed 52 balls to complete his century.
Babar Hayat of Hong Kong was the first batter to score a century in Asia Cup T20Is. He scored 122 runs from 60 balls against Oman in Fatullah on February 19, 2016.
On September 8, 2022, Kohli opened the innings for Men in Blue and remained unbeaten on 122 runs from 61 balls against Afghanistan in Dubai.

over to reach the 101-run mark.
