Soni Razdan Wishes ‘Darling’ Husband Mahesh Bhatt On His Birthday | See Pic

Soni Razdan met Mahesh Bhatt on the sets of Saaransh and got married to him in 1986. Since then, the couple has been going strong and, even after all these years, they never shy away from giving major goals. As Mahesh Bhatt turned a year older today, on September 20, Soni Razdan shared the cutest wish for her ‘darling’ husband.

The actress shared a picture seated with Mahesh Bhatt and penned a sweet yet short birthday wish. While sharing the picture, Soni wrote, “Happy Birthday darling… Bas yun hi baithe raho.” The post received love from many, including Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahani.

Neetu Kapoor, while wishing Mahesh Bhatt, wrote, “Happy birthday Mahesh 💕🌸 Good health and happiness always.”

Riddhima Kapoor Sahani added, “Happy bday uncle.”

In an interview with us at News18 Showsha, the actress recalled how she stopped getting work after marrying Mahesh Bhatt. “I’ve grown up in this industry – in the sense that I’ve been here for so many years. There has been a huge change over the years. I find it to be an almost different world altogether. When I had started out, I was doing really well. And then suddenly I got married. I wasn’t getting any work after that,” she shared.

Despite being a part of some acclaimed films, Soni Razdan believes that her identity continues to be restricted to being Alia Bhatt’s mother and Mahesh’s wife. “All my life, even now, I’m somebody else’s somebody. Let me be very loud and clear… My struggle is still to be known for who I am. I’m happy for the people around me, who’re doing so well in their lives. How could I not be? I’m grateful. But perhaps that’s how my journey was meant to be. Now I laugh at it. It’s funny, but I just go on, thinking that it’s okay,” Soni stated.

Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan married in 1986 and have two daughters, Shaheen Bhatt and Alia Bhatt, the latter being one of the leading actresses in contemporary Bollywood. Their personal and professional lives often catch the public eye.
