Indian cricket stars Harmanpreet Kaur, Shafali Verma, Deepti Sharma and Pratika Rawal stepped into an entirely new spotlight, this time on the Vogue India set. Fresh off their World Cup triumph, the girls got featured on the magazine’s cover with the same charisma they carry onto the field. The magazine unveiled its celebratory cover on Instagram, calling it a tribute to a team that “changed Indian sport at the stroke of midnight.”
Styled by Divya Balakrishnan, the shoot was photographed by Jacky Nayak, who captured a moment loaded with cultural and sporting significance.
A Closer Look At The Players’ Fashion Statements
Shafali Verma embraced a youthful, sporty aesthetic in an Ito sweatshirt and La Frangia shorts by Rosani. She paired the look with Crest rings by Viti Mittal and leopard-print
leather sneakers by Jeetinder Sandhu.
Harmanpreet Kaur, on the other hand, brought drama to the frame in a neon green draped gown by Gaurav Gupta. Her jewellery included link earrings from Noya and a spiral ring by E3k, while Verity 100 embellished leather sandals from Jimmy Choo sealed her refined look.

Coming to Deepti Sharma, the cricketer opted for sharp minimalism in the Neo blazer and Neo trousers from Line Outline. Silver spiral ear cuffs from Alasa matched the structured, contemporary silhouette chosen for her by the stylist.
Pratika Rawal was seen clad in a panelled midi dress featuring a curved bustier and hand-embroidered flower, crafted by Gauri & Nainika. A ring from Rejuvenate Jewels and Bottega Veneta’s Square-Toe BV Line Sandals completed her look.
How Did The Women’s Cricket Stars Feel?
In their conversation with Vogue, the athletes reflected on the whirlwind that followed their World Cup victory, the celebrations, the overwhelming attention and the sudden entry into spaces that previous generations of women cricketers could barely imagine.
Shafali Verma, who won Player of the Match in the finals, now wants to impress India with her looks. “This is our time, yaar. I like fashion. Finally, so many people are watching us, I want them to see us in these different styles also,” says the 21-year-old.
Vogue India also rolled out additional images from the shoot, highlighting the athletes in a setup styled and produced by its in-house teams.

The focus remained squarely on the designers behind each look and on the four cricketers who carried their off-field presence with the same clarity and confidence that defined their on-field success.
