According to a recent report by the Hurun Research Institute, shared by World of Statistics on social media platform X, the cities with the highest number of billionaires include New York, London, Mumbai, Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong, Moscow, New Delhi, and San Francisco.

New York Tops The List

With 119 billionaires, New York leads the world as the city with the most billionaires. The city is also home to the two largest stock exchanges globally, the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ, reinforcing its reputation as the financial capital of the world.

Mumbai Rises To Third Place

Mumbai, India’s financial powerhouse, now ranks third globally with 92 billionaires, surpassing cities like Beijing and Shanghai. This achievement places Mumbai just behind New York (119) and London (97), showcasing India’s growing economic influence and wealth concentration.
