Fans of the Mirzapur series have been eagerly waiting excitedly for updates about ‘Mirzapur: The Film’ ever since it was officially announced in 2024. It is one of the most highly anticipated films of the year,
and the team of the film starring Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi and others have finally completed shooting for the movie. The makers have announced the wrap-up of the film, and Shweta Tripathi shared a BTS picture showing the crew members posing together for a picture on the last day of shoot.
It’s A Wrap For Mirzapur The Film
Created by Puneet Krishna and directed by Gurmmeet Singh, the film is an adaptation of the popular crime-thriller OTT franchise, Mirzapur. It is presented by Amazon, MGM Studios, and Excel Entertainment. On Sunday, the official Instagram handle of Excel Entertainment shared a video announcing the wrap-up of the film. The video featured a clapperboard, and the caption read, “It’s a wrap! #MirzapurTheFilm.”

Meanwhile, Shweta Tripathi also shared a picture of the clapperboard on her Instagram stories. Along with this, she shared a group picture that shows the team members posing together on the last day of shoot. “It’s a wrap. Mirzapur – The Film,” she wrote.
About Mirzapur The Film
Mirzapur: The Film is a cinematic adaptation of the popular Prime Video series and will bring back the original cast, except Vikrant Massey. The big-screen adaptation is slated for a 2026 theatrical release across India before making its way to OTT platforms.
The film marks the return of the lead actors from the series, like Pankaj Tripathi as Kaleen Bhaiya, Ali Fazal as Guddu, Divyenndu as Munna Bhaiya, Abhishek Banerjee as Compounder, Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi, Shweta Tripathi as Golu Gupta. Adding to the cast is Jitendra Kumar, who will be replacing Vikrant Massey in Mirzapur: The Film, as well as Ravi Kishan, Mohit Malik, Sonal Chauhan in significant roles. The film will reportedly explore new arcs while staying true to the bloody, power-hungry world of Mirzapur.
