New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) A 22-year-old man allegedly stole SSD cards and RAMs worth around Rs 35-40 lakh at a computer shop in southeast Delhi’s Nehru Place to overcome financial constraints, police said on Friday.
The accused, identified as Krishna Bind, was arrested, and police recovered 520 SSD cards and 160 RAMs.
The burglary was reported on August 21. After the store owner filed a case at Kalkaji police station, an investigation was launched, police said.
CCTV footage and technical clues helped investigators identify the suspect, following which sustained field and technical investigation led to Bind’s arrest, they said.
During interrogation, Bind allegedly disclosed that he did not have sufficient means to earn his livelihood and had planned
the burglary to overcome his financial difficultie.
Bind is a resident of Sarita Vihar and has no previous criminal involvement, according to police.
