Aparshakti’s breakthrough performance came in Nitesh Tiwari’s Dangal. The film revolved around Mahavir Singh Phogat, a wrestler who trains his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Phogat to become the first world-class female wrestlers in the country. Luka Chuppi

Jubilee
Created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane, the series stars Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sidhant Gupta and others. Gunmaster G9
Fans will see him stepping into an all-new avatar in the upcoming high-octane family action drama titled Gunmaster G9. Helmed by Aditya Datt, the film will see him playing a villain for the first time. Backed by Deepak Mukut and Hunar Mukut under the Soham Rockstar Entertainment banner, Gunmaster G9 will also star Emraan Hashmi, Genelia D’Souza and Abhishek Singh. The film is expected to hit the theatres in 2026.
Side Heroes
Aparshakti is also roped in for renowned filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next project. Tentatively titled Side Heroes, Aparshakti will share the screen space with Abhishek Banerjee and Varun Sharma in the upcoming drama.
This untitled project will be jointly produced by Ali and Mahaveer Jain Films. Made under the direction of Sanjay Tripaathy, the film is touted to be a heartfelt and hilarious ode to friendship, nostalgia and rediscovering joy.
