Batman is known for his serious expressions and silent stares from rooftops. Across films, comics and series, he is shown fighting villains and saving people. But this time, the superhero was spotted doing something far more unexpected: standing at a roadside stall in India and enjoying gol gappe. No, we’re not kidding.
Recently, a video has surfaced online that has left social media users laughing as it shows a man dressed as Batman eating panipuri at a local stall. The clip has caught attention not because of action or drama but because it places one of the world’s most iconic superheroes in a very desi setting.
Batman Spotted Eating Gol Gappe In India
The video starts with a panipuri vendor placing a gol gappa into a plastic bowl. As the scene
unfolds, the person recording the clip says, “Bhaiya! Pehle mere ko (Brother, give it to me first).”
Moments later, the camera pans towards the person holding the bowl. It turns out to be Batman. What makes the moment even funnier is what comes next. In a deep, intense voice (instantly recognisable to fans), Batman says, “Mirchi kam (Less spice),” followed by, “Aur meetha zyada (More sweet).”
The vendor, clearly entertained by the situation, is seen smiling as he prepares the panipuri. Batman is then seen eating the panipuri. Like many people, he struggles to finish it in one bite. The superhero may be used to handling high-pressure situations, but the gol gappa is definitely not easy to eat.
The caption shared with the video reads, “Gotham nagar ki pani-puri (Panipuri from Gotham Nagar).”

Internet Did What It Does Best
With more than eleven million views, the reel has turned into a viral sensation. As expected, the comments section became a space for jokes and witty one-liners from users.
One person commented, “Panipuri paglu Batman.”
Another wrote, “Other heroes already on the crime location. Meanwhile, Batman….”
“One sukha, one meetha….and one for justice,” someone else joked.
“Batman during daytime,” a viewer remarked.
An individual humorously said, “We got panipuri paglu Batman before GTA 6.”
Apart from the humour, many users were impressed by the Batman costume itself. One person asked, “Bhai ye suit kahan milega? (Brother, where can I get this suit?)” while another wrote, “Mujhe ye suit chahiye (I want this suit).”
Other funny remarks included: “Bro protects Gautam Nagar,” “When Bruce visited India,” “Pookie Batman”, and “Justice for Batman.”
Looks like even Gotham’s protector needs a pani-puri break once in a while.
