tnresults nic in, Tamil Nadu HSC 12th Result 2026 Link Live Updates: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination (TNDGE) has declared the Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2026 or class 12th results today, May 8 at 9:30 am.
A total of 95.20 per cent of the students have passed. Among them, 93.19 per cent of the boys and 97 per cent of the girls have passed. Erode district has been named the best-performing district with a pass percentage of 98.07. Sivaganga district stands second with 98.05 per cent, and Kanyakumari district third with 97.63 per cent.
Students can now check now their TN 12th exam results on the official websites at tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. Besides, with the support of the Tamil Nadu E-Governance Agency, a facility
to check results through WhatsApp has been introduced for the first time this year. By sending a text message saying “Hi” to the WhatsApp number 7845252525, the exam results will be sent via WhatsApp. The results can also be accessed via SMS and DigiLocker.
The Class 12 examination for students following the Tamil Nadu state syllabus was conducted from March 2 to 26, with about 8 lakh students appearing. A total of 8,82,806 regular students and 13,744 private candidates took the examination this time.
