Smriti Mandhana, Palaash Muchhal Celebrate Their Haldi Ceremony In Hues Of Yellow

Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and filmmaker-music composer Palash Muchhal are all set to embark on a new journey. The power couple, Smriti and Palash, will be tying the knot on November 23, 2025.

Engulfed in the vibrant, pure joy of the haldi ceremony, Smriti and Palaash kicked off the pre-wedding festivities surrounded by close family and friends. Ahead of their wedding, the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, congratulated the couple and also mentioned that the groom and bride have scheduled a Celebration Cricket Match to celebrate their wonderful partnership.

Bride-to-be Smriti Mandhana and groom-to-be Palaash Muchhal celebrated the colour yellow at their haldi ceremony. Looking like

a ray of sunshine, Smriti adorned a short kurta paired with palazzo pants designed in bright yellow. The radiant colour palette was further enhanced with intricate, opulent embroidery and embellishments designed on the yoke and the border of the kurta. Smriti completed her haldi look with a yellow dupatta.

Complementing her bridal glow were the maang tika and the multi-layered earrings draped from the ear, which added a blend of tradition and contemporary flair to Smriti’s pre-wedding festive look.

Palaash was dressed in a yellow kurta with intricate mirror work. Before Palaash joined Smriti for the haldi celebrations, Palak Muchhal gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek into her brother’s haldi ceremony, where he opted for a classic white kurta.

The Bowled Over Proposal

The World Champion, Smriti Mandhana, was bowled over when Palaash proposed to her on the DY Patil Stadium ground, Mumbai, the venue where India won the Women’s World Cup final against South Africa earlier this month. Palaash shared the ‘She Said Yes’ moment on Instagram.

Smriti looked radiant in a red dress with minimal draped detailing, and Palaash too looked dapper in a grey blazer paired with a black shirt and pants. The couple exchanged rings on the special occasion, and Smriti was given a huge bouquet of red roses.

Jemimah also posted on her Instagram stories, a photo of her and Smriti during the Celebration Cricket Match. Jemimah was spotted wearing the ‘Team Bride’ vest.
