around Anandh Raj, fondly called Happy, a cheerful man whose otherwise simple life is often complicated by his clumsy father, Kaathumuthu. Happy repeatedly faces embarrassing situations and humiliating rejections because of his father’s actions.

Amid these challenges, he finds love with Kavya. However, their relationship soon brings family differences to the surface, especially when Happy’s modest father comes face-to-face with Kavya’s wealthy relatives. The film uses these moments to explore class differences, family bonds, affection and the emotional weight of one’s roots.

Cast and Characters

The film stars G. V. Prakash Kumar as Anandh “Happy” Raj, with Sri Gouri Priya playing Kavya. Abbas appears as Rajiv, while George Maryan plays Kaathumuthu. The cast also includes Madurai Muthu as Bhaskar “Boskey”, Mahesh Devi as Reena Rajiv, Prathana Nathan as Thenmozhi, Baanumathi as Kavya’s friend, Premgi Amaren in a cameo appearance as a fake priest, and Ram Shankar as a train ticket collector.
