The online exchange between Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut has taken a fresh turn. Hours after Hrithik reacted to the viral “We Need to Apologise to Hrithik” trend by urging people not to be swayed by social media narratives and to wait for “facts and truth,” Kangana hit back with a strongly worded statement, accusing him of adding “fuel to the fire” instead of speaking against those targeting her.
A while ago, Kangana Ranaut, who is quite active on social media, took to her Instagram stories and shared a news post covering Hrithik’s reaction. In her note, she said she was happy that he had found love with Saba Azad and wished the couple well. She, however, urged him not to “tease” her through such remarks and instead speak out against those
allegedly trolling and harassing her using his name. Kangana further claimed that his comments were adding “fuel to the fire” and said she hoped he would refrain from making what she called “unreasonable comments.”
Her note read, “Dear Hrithik I am happy that you have found your perfect match, Saba Azad and you both look great together, you are in a committed relationship and it doesn’t suit you to tease a woman like this, instead you should condemn all those who are harassing and bullying me using your name, stop adding fuel to fire and embarrassing your partner, hope better sense prevails and you stop making unreasonable comments.” Have a look:
Earlier today, Hrithik Roshan responded to a post shared by Freddy Birdy on Instagram, which read, “The world owes an apology to Hrithik Roshan.” Many social media users linked the trend to their 2016 public feud. However, Hrithik made it clear that he was not in favour of people taking sides simply because public opinion had shifted. He commented, “My friend, siding with ‘A’ just because you don’t like ‘B’ anymore is a small part of the larger systemic issue plaguing our society. I’ll wait, for when the context to it is the right one, and motivated by facts. That would be fair. But then again, who cares anymore right?”
The latest wave of online discussion was sparked by Kangana’s remarks on student protests, which led to a public exchange with Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das. Responding to the actress, Das quipped that his friends joked she may have been targeting him because he looked like a younger Hrithik Roshan. He said, “My friends told me, ‘You look like a young Hrithik Roshan. Maybe that’s why Kangana is attacking you.”
Hrithik and Kangana’s long-running dispute dates back to 2016, when the actress referred to him as her “silly ex” during an interview. Hrithik publicly denied they had ever been in a relationship, triggering a bitter legal and public battle between the two. What followed were exchanged legal notices, conflicting statements, and allegations involving emails, among other claims. The controversy dominated headlines for months and continues to be regarded as one of Bollywood’s most high-profile and widely discussed feuds.
