The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is recruiting for 63 faculty positions. Candidates up to 50 years of age can apply for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor roles until November 14, 2025.
The recruitment is for Assistant Professor and Associate Professor roles, mainly in the College of Nursing. These positions are open to candidates from SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and General categories. Departments include Anesthesiology, Emergency Medicine, Hospital Administration, Neurosurgery, Nuclear Medicine, Pathology, and Radiology.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Each department has specific qualification requirements. Generally, an MD/MS, DM/MCh, or equivalent degree along with a few years of experience is required. Full details are available

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 50 years. SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD candidates will receive age relaxation as per rules.
Experience: Teaching or professional experience in the medical field may be required.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The AIIMS recruitment process involves two steps:
Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on age, degree, and experience. If more than 10 valid applications are received for a given post, an objective screening test will be conducted.
Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by the AIIMS Standing Selection Committee. All required documents, including degrees, experience certificates, and ID, must be uploaded online.
AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Application Fee
General/OBC: Rs 3,000.
EWS/SC/ST: Rs 2,400, which will be refunded after the interview for SC/ST candidates. There will be no fee for PwD (Persons with Disabilities). Payment must be made online via UPI, debit/credit card, or net banking.

AIIMS Faculty Recruitment 2025: Salary Details
The salary structure is as follows:
Assistant Professor: Rs 1,01,500 to Rs 1,67,400 per month.
Associate Professor (College of Nursing): Rs 67,700 to Rs 2,08,700 per month.
