Delhi, May 18 (PTI) A cab erupted in flames near the Bhajanpura metro station in northeast Delhi on Monday morning, Delhi Fire Service (DFS) officials said.
No casualties were reported in the incident, which occurred near gate number 2 of the metro station, they said.
A call regarding the incident was received at 7.30 am, following which a fire tender was rushed to the spot. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control by 8.25 am, a DFS official said.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police and fire department officers inspected the spot and further investigation is underway, he said. PTI BM DIV DIV
