Salman Khan may soon be teaming up with filmmaker duo Raj & DK for a new big-screen project. According to a report by Pinkvilla, the actor is currently in early discussions with the makers of The Family
Man for a potential action-comedy. While the collaboration is still at a nascent stage, the genre is said to align perfectly with Salman’s larger-than-life screen persona, while also offering a fresh tonal shift under Raj & DK’s distinct storytelling style.
A source close to the development shared that Salman has already heard the basic idea and shown interest. “It’s an action-comedy, but it will present Salman Khan in a slightly different space. However, he is yet to give his final nod to the project,” the source said. If the film moves ahead, Raj & DK are reportedly keen to mount it on a large scale.
Timelines And Script Still Being Worked Out
At the moment, the focus remains on creative alignment and locking the script. The makers are also discussing timelines, keeping Salman Khan’s busy slate in mind. If everything falls into place, the project could go on floors by the end of 2026. For now, the collaboration remains in the discussion phase, with no official confirmation from either side.
A film with Raj & DK could offer Salman Khan a new flavour of mass entertainment, blending action and humour with the duo’s signature sensibilities. However, audiences will have to wait until Salman gives his final approval for the project to take concrete shape.
