South Africa skipper Temba Bavuma was seen on Sunday engaging in a heated on-field exchange with teammate Quinton de Kock over a DRS call, and a video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
The incident occurred on the fourth ball of the 48th over of the second ODI between Australia and South Africa, after Lizaad Williams struck Xavier Bartlett on the pads, prompting a massive LBW appeal.
The on-field umpire turned down the appeal, prompting an extended discussion in the middle over whether to review.
Bavuma opted for the review and South Africa were rewarded as the replays showed three reds, forcing Bartlett to walk back after scoring 50 off 28 balls. But the replays captured an exchange between Bavuma and de Kock as well, with the two
involved in a heated discussion and plenty of finger-pointing.
The exchange between the two was far from cordial, with Marco Jansen stepping in to calm de Kock down. The wicketkeeper-batter, however, chose to walk away from the scene.

Meanwhile, South Africa bagged their sixth consecutive bilateral series victory over Australia, defending the fifth-highest total ever posted at the Wanderers in front of a festive Pink Day crowd.
The annual game, now in its 14th edition, raises funds for breast cancer awareness and treatment, with South Africa having won 10 of the 14 matches.
This year’s edition carried an added touch, with every player replacing their own name on the back of their shirt with that of a breast cancer fighter or survivor. David Miller wore his mother Jenny’s name and responded with a career-best 142, setting South Africa up for a match-winning total.
Miller shared a 156-run fourth-wicket stand with Bavuma, who also brought up a hundred, his first in ODIs at his home ground in Johannesburg.
