Extremely saddening: President Murmu condoles loss of lives in MP road accident

New Delhi, Sep 19 (PTI) President Droupadi Murmu on Saturday said the loss of lives in a car accident in Madhya Pradesh is extremely saddening and expressed deepest condolences to all the bereaved family members.

Eight people, including three children and two women, were killed after their car fell into a swollen drain in Madhya Pradesh’s Agar Malwa district in the early hours of Saturday, according to police.

The accident occurred near the Bagulamukhi temple in Nalkheda town, around 30 km from the district headquarters, Nalkheda police station in-charge Shashi Upadhyay said.

“The news of the loss of lives in the car accident that occurred in Agar Malwa district of Madhya Pradesh is extremely saddening. I express my deepest condolences to all the bereaved

family members,” the president said in a post on X in Hindi. PTI AKV PRK
