CSIR UGC NET 2025 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the CSIR UGC NET December 2025 examination today, October 24. Candidates who are yet to apply can
complete their registration through the official website at csirnet.nta.nic.in.
The CSIR UGC NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Lectureship/Assistant Professorship in various science subjects under the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).
How To Apply For CSIR UGC NET December 2025?

Step 2: Click on the registration link for Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2025.
Step 3: Complete the registration process and fill in the application form.
Step 4: Upload the required documents and pay the examination fee.
Step 5: Review all details carefully before final submission.
Step 6: Download and save the confirmation page for future reference.

Applicants are required to pay the application fee according to their category — Rs 1,150 for the General category, Rs 600 for EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and Rs 300 for SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender candidates.
The fee can be paid through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. Those who fail to pay the fee before the registration deadline can still make the payment until October 25, 2025, 11:50 PM.
The application correction window will remain open from October 27 to 29, 2025, allowing candidates to edit their details if needed. The CSIR UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode in two shifts — 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
The paper will be available in both Hindi and English, and the English version will be considered final in case of any discrepancy.
