Khatron Ke Khiladi 15: Rithvik Dhanjani Injured, Suffers Bad Burns During Fire Stunt | Exclusive

It is not a secret that the shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 has already started in Cape Town, South Africa. While several television celebrities are facing their worst fears in Rohit Shetty-hosted show, News18 Showsha has now exclusively learnt that Rithvik Dhanjani was injured during a recent stunt.

An insider close to the show told us that Rithvik suffered from bad burns while performing the stunt. “Rithvik was performing a fire stunt in which he had a very bad burn injury. While he continued and completed the stunt, the injury is quite bad, though he has kept a brave face on,” the source told us.

While details of the stunt are being kept tightly under wraps by the makers, sources on set suggest that the challenge involved a high-risk fire

element, making it one of the more dangerous stunts attempted this season. We were also told that the actor immediately received medical attention after completing the task and was advised to take it easy. However, Rithvik was determined not to let the injury affect his performance.

Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 remains one of the most-awaited reality shows of 2026. While the makers have not yet officially announced the premiere date, the Rohit Shetty-hosted stunt-based show is expected to return to television in June 2026.

Currently being filmed in Cape Town, KKK 15 has the theme ‘Darr Ka Naya Daur’. In the latest promo, Shetty was seen competing with a lightweight aircraft as he performed drifts with his car. While announcing the new season, the filmmaker said, “Shuru hone ja raha hai darr ka naya daur.”

Meanwhile, besides Rithvik, other celebrities who will be seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 are Gaurav Khanna, Farhana Bhatt, Avinash Mishra, Orhan Awatramani (popularly known as Orry), Harsh Gujral, and Shagun Sharma. Adding to the excitement, several former contestants are making a comeback for another shot at the trophy, including Karan Wahi, Rubina Dilaik, Vishal Aditya Singh, Jasmin Bhasin, and Avika Gor.
