Stranger Helps Mumbai Woman Deliver Baby Boy At Ram Mandir Station After Hospital Denied Entry: ‘Real Hero Without Uniform’

A man in Mumbai became a saviour for a woman who suddenly went into labour while travelling by train. The incident took place at around 1 AM at Ram Mandir station, where the man helped the woman deliver her baby. The moment, which was shared on social media by an eyewitness, has now gone viral, with hundreds of people applauding his incredible act of courage and compassion.

According to the post shared on Instagram, the man, Vikas Bedre, noticed the pregnant woman in distress and immediately decided to pull the train’s emergency chain to stop it. “This man is truly brave — words aren’t enough to describe him,” the user, who shared how the entire incident unfolded, wrote. “I still get chills saying this — the woman’s baby was halfway out, half inside

and half outside. At that very moment, it truly felt like God had sent this brother there for a reason,” he mentioned.

He Did This For The First Time In His Life

The clip alongside the note showed an individual holding the newborn baby, while the mother was lying down. The man, who helped deliver the baby, announced, “Ladka hua hai (It’s a boy).” He then shared, “Pehli baar kiya hai jeevan mein maine yeh. Itna darr lag raha tha na par video call pe madam ne help kiya (It’s the first time I did something like this. I was very scared, but madam helped a lot over video call).”

According to the post, the man managed to successfully deliver the baby with the help of a doctor who guided him through a video call. The user shared, “We all tried our best — we called several doctors, but the ambulance was taking time to arrive. Finally, a female doctor guided him over a video call, and he did exactly what she instructed. His courage in that moment was beyond words.” People who gathered at the station, including a bunch of police officials, praised him for his bravery.

A Hospital Refused To Deliver The Baby

Later, it was revealed that the woman’s family had gone to a nearby hospital for help but were turned away, prompting them to return home by train. “The woman’s family had taken her to a nearby hospital, but shockingly, they were told that the delivery couldn’t be done there, so they had to bring her back on the train. It’s truly shameful that a hospital refused to help a mother in such a situation,” the post revealed. The user applauded the man’s quick thinking that saved both the mother and her baby. The individual added, “He saved both the mother and the baby’s lives, and together we made sure she reached the hospital safely.”
