Rain lashes parts of Rajasthan

Jaipur, Oct 7 (PTI) Heavy rain lashed parts of Rajasthan, with Didwana-Kuchaman receiving the maximum rainfall of 131 mm, the weather office said on Tuesday.

Bikaner, Churu, Nagaur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli,

Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Dholpur, and Dausa were among the districts that received heavy to very heavy rainfall till Tuesday morning.

The weather office said rainfall activity is likely to decrease significantly from Tuesday onwards. However, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder may occur in parts of Shekhawati, Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota divisions during the day.

From October 8 onwards, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry across most parts of the state, the weather office said. PTI AG DV DV
