A massive fire broke out at a paper factory in Bhiwandi in Maharashtra’s Thane district late Wednesday night.
Soon after receiving information about the incident, the fire department pressed several fire tenders
into service.
Visuals from the site show fire department personnel working to douse the flames. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined.

There were no immediate reports of injuries. Firefighting operations were still underway at the time of reporting.

In a separate incident, flames erupted at a godown at Mankoli in Thane district on the same day. The fire broke out at around 11 pm at the paper and cardboard godown, and fire engines from Bhiwandi were rushed to the spot. Fortunately, there were no reports of anyone getting injured.
