The excitement surrounding BTS’s comeback has reached new heights after the K-pop boy band dropped tour dates for their upcoming world tour. After nearly four years of hiatus, the band members V, Jungkook, RM, Jin, Suga, Jimin and J-Hope are all set to kick off their highly anticipated world tour in April 2026.
However, despite strong hints from band member V, the world tour announcement did not include a stop in India, leaving the ARMYs disheartened. Following the announcement, Indian ARMYs took over social media expressing their disappointment and sorrow. One such video started making rounds on social media, where a BTS fan was captured crying profusely after she got to know that BTS was not coming to India in 2026.
Young BTS ARMY Gets Emotional
Adding an emotional layer to the disappointment, the video showed how the absence of India’s name from BTS’s world tour list deeply affected the ARMYs. The young fan broke down in tears after getting the news. As she shared the reason for her crying with her father, he gently tried to console her.
Although the father was clearly unaware of BTS and their global fandom, what truly melted hearts was his instinctive response to his daughter’s tears. In an attempt to comfort her, he said, “Give me their phone number; we will make them come.”
After learning that BTS is from South Korea, the father reassured his crying daughter that they would go to South Korea to watch BTS’s concert.
The video struck a chord with Indian ARMYs, who are equally heartbroken after learning about India’s absence from BTS’s world tour list.
BTS Members Confirm To Add More Cities
Last night, the OT7 went live on Weverse to interact with fans and share details on their upcoming album Arirang and the world tour. “We asked our agency to add more venues and cities,” the OT7 confirmed during the livestream. Although they did not mention which cities would be added, Indian fans are eagerly awaiting their debut performance in the country.
The world tour will kick off with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9 and will span more than 34 cities across 5 continents and over 79 shows so far.
