The Girlfriend Box Office: Rashmika Mandanna’s Film Earns Over Rs 1 Crore On Day 4

Rashmika Mandanna has had a remarkable year so far, with back-to-back releases including Chhaava, Sikandar, Thamma and now The Girlfriend. Her latest film, written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, hit theatres on Friday. Although it opened to modest numbers, the film gained momentum over the weekend and is now expected to perform steadily in the coming days.

According to Sacnilk, the film witnessed growth over the weekend, earning Rs 2.4 crore on Saturday and Rs 2.7 crore on Sunday, buoyed by positive reviews. However, it experienced a slight dip on Monday, collecting Rs 1.10 crore. With this, the film’s total box office collection now stands at Rs 7.50 crore.

The Girlfriend: Overall Footfall

The Girlfriend recorded an overall Telugu occupancy

of 19.16%, with 14.61% in the morning shows, 22.55% in the afternoon, and 18.49% in the evening. At the Hindi box office, the film faces competition from Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi’s Haq.

Post the film’s release, Rashmika Mandanna shared a note expressing why this project has been so special to her. The Girlfriend: Plot And Cast

Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, The Girlfriend follows postgraduate student Bhooma Devi (Rashmika Mandanna), who is deceived into falling in love with Vikram (Dheekshith), a college student. She soon finds herself trapped in a toxic relationship she cannot escape. The film, produced by Dheeraj Mogilneni and Vidya Koppineni, also features Anu Emmanuel and Rao Ramesh in pivotal roles.

Beyond The Girlfriend, Rashmika has already announced her next project, Mysaa. The striking first-look poster presents her in a fierce and intense avatar, hinting at a powerful new role.
