Born in Chennai, she entered the entertainment industry after winning the reality television show Asatha Povathu Yaaru, which opened doors to acting opportunities. She made her film debut with Avargalum Ivargalum (2011), but it was her performance in the National Award-winning Tamil film Kaaka Muttai (2014) that brought her widespread recognition.

Later, Aishwarya also starred in films like Dharmadurai, Vada Chennai, Kanaa, Thittam Irandu and Farhana that showcased her versatility, allowing her to move seamlessly between intense drama, sports-based narratives and socially relevant thrillers.
