Ranvir Shorey SLAMS Swara Bhasker Over Jauhar Remark; Rashmika Says Injury Gave Her More Time With Vijay Deverakonda

Swara Bhasker’s recent comments on Jauhar have sparked criticism from Ranvir Shorey. The actress recently spoke about the portrayal of Jauhar in Deepika Padukone’s 2018 film Padmaavat. She said that the climax of the movie had disturbed her and questioned the message it could send to survivors of sexual violence. Ranvir Shorey took to X (formerly Twitter) to react to her remarks, questioning what connection there was between Jauhar and rape survivors, saying the two involved completely different contexts. He also questioned the intention behind making such a comparison.
