Aamir Khan is a married man again. The Bollywood star tied the knot with longtime partner Gauri Spratt on Sunday at his Bandra home in Mumbai, signing the wedding register in front of close family and friends.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt age
Aamir Khan was born on 14 March 1965, making him 61. Gauri Spratt was born on 21 August 1978, and is 47. The two share an age gap of 13 years.
The two are not new to each other. Aamir and Gauri first met around 25 years ago, long before romance entered the picture. It was only in 2024, through Aamir’s cousin Nuzhat Khan in Bengaluru, that they reconnected. What followed was a year of long-distance dating before Aamir went public. He introduced Gauri as his “partner” during his 60th birthday celebrations in March
2025, ending months of speculation about who he was seeing.
Gauri eventually left Bengaluru for Mumbai, moving in with her son from a previous marriage. She also stepped away from her role at a haircare company around the same time, joining Aamir Khan Productions, the banner that recently marked 25 years in business.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt Wedding
Sunday’s ceremony was low-key by design. Ira Khan and Junaid Khan, Aamir’s children with his first wife Reena Dutta, were seen arriving ahead of the event. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker, who directed Aamir in Lagaan, and actor Elli AvrRam also joined the celebrations.
Aamir Khan marriages
This marks Aamir’s third marriage. His second, to filmmaker Kiran Rao, began in December 2005 after the two worked together on Lagaan, where she was an assistant director. They welcomed son Azad Rao Khan through surrogacy in 2011.
Aamir and Kiran separated in 2021 after 16 years of marriage, but the split was notably amicable. Both have said they remain close friends and continue to co-parent Azad, while still working together professionally.
