Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Silver prices on Wednesday fell by Rs 5,380 to Rs 2,23,183 per kilogram as participants reduced their bets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver contracts for September delivery declined by Rs 5,380, or 2.35 per cent, to Rs 2,23,183 per kg in a business turnover of 2,219 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants mainly weighed on silver prices.
Globally, the white metal was trading 2.18 per cent higher at USD 57.32 per ounce in New York. PTI DR DRR
