Admit it, we all have stood on a busy street, stared at a shop, and wondered just how much money the owner might make in a day. Somehow, it always feels like they make more than a regular 9-to-5 job. Something similar happened to two men at a fair. They were in a queue to hop on a Ferris wheel when they started doing quick calculations about how much the operator might earn in a day. And the result completely blew them away.
In a video shared on Instagram, one of the two friends said that all the operators were charging Rs 200 per ride. He then pointed the camera at the crowd and said that at least 100 people were boarding the giant Ferris wheel at a time. So, that makes his earnings a whopping Rs 20,000 for a single ride that lasts for about
five minutes.
One of the two then jokingly asked the operator, “So, in a day, you can earn Rs 10 lakh?” He then added, “Mera bhi ek jhoola lagwa do bagal mein aise hi. Kharche mein dekh lunga (Get me a ride like this here. Don’t worry about the expenses that I’ll see).”

Internet Points Out How The Ride Operators Can Go Out Of Work At Times
Soon, the clip caught the attention of social media users, who highlighted the work that goes into putting up such rides. Some also mentioned that these operators might not have a stable income throughout the year.
One user said, “Jo aisa sochta h ye log zada kama rahe h to khud start kare karna pata chalega kitna kamaye h kitna rent kitna electricity aur mehnat (Those who think that they are earning more, once you start doing the same, then you will know how much they earn, how much rent they pay, how much they pay for electricity, and the hard work behind.)”
A different person said, “Law of averages pr chalta hai kaam. Kabhi kabhi kaam nhi bhi chalta (Their work runs on the law of averages. Sometimes, they don’t work either.)”
“Business mindset,” another user joked.
Meanwhile, someone else hilariously mentioned, “Bhai apne yaha Rs 40 ki ticket lagti hai, 200 bhut mehenga hai (Bro, we get tickets for Rs 40 at my place, Rs 200 is too costly).”
Since the clip was shared by the digital creator, it has been viewed over 9 lakh times.
