In the video, she captures her unexpected encounter with a Vietnamese restaurant staffer who openly expresses his love for Balika Vadhu. Introducing him in the clip, Juhi highlights how the Indian serial has left a lasting impression.
Balika Vadhu’s Vietnamese Fan Reveals Watching It With His Family
In the video, Juhi says, “So I was talking to him, and he told me that he watched this movie, an Indian movie,” and requested that he show it to the audience. Soon, the Vietnamese man points his phone towards the camera and can be heard saying, “It’s Bacala Badoo (Balika Vadhu). It’s famous in Vietnam,” leaving the content creator completely moved.
She joins him and adds, “Yeah, it’s Balika Vadhu, guys. He watches Balika Vadhu. That’s his favourite TV show right now.”
He continues, “I’m a big fan also with my family,” and explains that Balika Vadhu charmed them with its slower pace compared to fast Vietnamese action movies. “That’s the reason I’m so impressed with the movie from India. But also, the story is very good, because it has been a long time. And have a long path. But I’m (like) hurrying up after school and going to watch the movie with my family.”
Concluding the vibrant experience while jumping in utmost excitement, Juhi shares, “I love this. I love this. After school, he used to come and watch Balika Badhu. Guys, this is the best thing I’ve ever heard today at Hanoi.”

Avika Gor’s Elated Response To Her Vietnamese Fan
The digital content creator captioned the video by tagging Avika Gor, the lead actress of the popular TV serial, Balika Vadhu, and wrote, “Girl, you’re popular in Vietnam,” adding, “Also, he was the sweetest man to discuss his love for this show.” Soon, Avika reacted to the video, mentioning, “Made my day,” followed by a fire emoji.
In response, the Vietnamese waiter commented, “Omgg my familyy is your big fann.” He also wrote, “It’s me, it’s really fun. I think I need to watch this movie again.”
Internet’s Reaction To The Vietnamese Balika Vadhu Fan
Social media users were left delighted with the digital content creator’s encounter with the Balika Vadhu fan and flooded the comment section with relatable reactions. Someone told the Vietnamese waiter, “That little girl is all grown up and married. That show was aired in 2008 in India.” Another called him “Balika vadhu paglu.”
A user said, “Wow, this is so wholesome.” One person shared, “I have a friend from Bulgaria, and her whole family watches Balika Vadhu. When I first heard it, I was like whatttttt wowwwww.”
Echoing the same emotion, a person commented, “It’s also famous in Romania lol. Europeans also watch Jodha Akbar.” “Balika Vadhu was also hugely popular in Africa as well as the Middle East, Armenia, Azerbaijan, etc,” read a comment.
