over the years, it’s shutting down negativity with wit and confidence. Appearing on the latest episode of Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle, Sonakshi opened up about how she deals with trolls and why she occasionally hits back.

When asked why she sometimes responds to hate comments, Sonakshi told Kajol, “I give it back rarely but when I do, it means that you’ve reached a point where you’ve really pissed me off. Otherwise, I am not bothered. I ignore it. It’s easy for me to shut out the negativity but sometimes it just comes to a point like ‘Abey, tu hai kaun? Tune mujhe kaise bola? You are some idiot sitting somewhere behind your computer and you have the gall to talk to me like that? Come, let me show you.’”

Twinkle Khanna called Sonakshi a “pro” at handling trolls before launching into a fun game segment that involved reading out mean social media comments. One troll had mocked Sonakshi’s outfit, saying it looked like something borrowed from her father Shatrughan Sinha’s closet. Without missing a beat, Sonakshi retorted, “It was intentional, btch.”*

Another user quipped that her Instagram captions were “funnier than her movies,” to which Sonakshi cheekily replied, “Maybe because I am a witty person, that’s why.”

And when someone complained that she had blocked them for calling her “aunty,” Sonakshi burst out laughing and said, “I will unblock you just to block you again.”

Sonakshi’s unfiltered responses quickly went viral, with fans praising her for her candour and humour. Despite constant scrutiny, the actress continues to exude confidence, proving she’s unbothered by faceless criticism. Her appearance on the show also featured celebrated costume designer Manish Malhotra, adding a touch of glamour to the laughter-filled episode.
