Tom Holland has reassured fans with his first public appearance since his accident on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The 29-year-old actor was reportedly rushed to the hospital after a stunt went
wrong, resulting in a mild concussion. While reports differ on whether the mishap occurred on September 12 or September 19, filming was briefly halted to ensure his recovery.
On September 20, just days after the incident, Holland took center stage as host of the Posh Pub Quiz in London, a charity event organised by The Brothers Trust, which he runs with his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy Holland. Supporting him throughout the evening was his fiancée, actress Zendaya, making the gala a rare public outing for the otherwise private couple.
A Night Of Laughter, Joy And Support
Held at Christie’s auction house, the Posh Pub Quiz blended lighthearted competition with philanthropy. Guests competed in pub quiz-style rounds with unique prizes, including a golf game with Holland himself.
Attendee Laura Hope Whitaker, co-founder of Java Joy, posted several photos from the event on Instagram. Her caption read: “A ‘night of all nights’… The Tom Holland Posh Pub Quiz for @thebrotherstrust was one to remember! We showed up in our best — with joy — and it carried through the night.” She added, “We hugged, we chatted, we sang & we tried (and lost) the pub quiz. But we got autographed spoons so I think we really won!”
Whitaker’s photos captured Holland mingling with guests, Zendaya cheering him on during hosting duties, and candid moments with the couple posing alongside attendees. Another guest shared gratitude for the stars, writing on Instagram that Tom and Zendaya were “wonderful hosts.”
Tom And Zendaya’s Bond Stronger Than Ever
Holland and Zendaya’s enduring romance remains a point of fascination for fans. The pair, who first appeared together in Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), confirmed their off-screen relationship years later. Earlier this year, Zendaya’s Golden Globe appearance sparked engagement rumors when she was spotted wearing a diamond ring. A family source later confirmed that the two are indeed engaged.
Their latest sighting follows reports of their time together on the London set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the upcoming installment in the Marvel franchise, slated for release on July 31, 2026.
Despite the recent scare, Holland’s return to the spotlight at the charity gala reassured fans that he is back on his feet.
