Mathew Thomas’ Horror Comedy Nellikkampoyil Night Riders Gets OTT Release Date

Nellikkampoyil Night Riders, a horror comedy film, was released on October 24, 2025, after being postponed from an earlier release to avoid clashing with Kantara: A Legend Chapter-1. It did not fare very well at the box office, but Mathew Thomas fans may now watch the Malayalam film on OTT from February 6.

On Wednesday, the makers of Nellikkampoyil Night Riders made a huge announcement about the film being available on Zee5. Sunu A. V. and Jyothish M. wrote the screenplay for Noufal Abdullah’s film, which stars Mathew Thomas as Shyam, with Roshan Shanavas, Sarath Sabha, Meenakshi Unnikrishnan, Merin Philip, Vishnu Agasthya, Rony David, and Abu Salim playing supporting characters. in a 122-minute journey with a folkloric and spooky edge.

Nellikkampoyil Night Riders – Storyline

Nellikkampoyil is a community with a long history of superstitious beliefs that have influenced the neighbouring population. They are rattled by the idea of mysterious beings living among them, a rumour that a little boy named Shyam aspires to investigate.

Nellikkampoyil Night Riders follows the primary character and his buddies on a trip to challenge ancient stories about a masked guy with horse legs. While the protagonist overcomes his own inner fear of the night, his friends help him defeat the tale of the disguised creature in a dramatic struggle of courage and togetherness. They become the famous ‘Nellikkampoyil Night Riders’ of the rural community.
