For ENHYPEN, 2026 has brought both change and opportunity. With the group preparing for its next round of performances and projects, members Jungwon, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki have shared how they are adapting to life as a six-member team following Heeseung’s departure earlier this year.
Speaking to Billboard, the members reflected on the transition and revealed that their focus remains firmly on their music, performances and the fans who have stood by them throughout the years.
According to Jungwon, much of the group’s time has recently been spent getting ready for their upcoming tour. “These days, we’ve been busy preparing for our tour,” he shared. The leader explained that the members have been spending long hours rehearsing together,
often sharing meals while working toward delivering “the best stage possible.”
Jake also acknowledged the attention surrounding ENHYPEN’s next phase and the expectations that have come with it. “We just all know that there’s a lot of people out there that are expecting a lot from us,” he said. Despite the pressure, he noted that the members are concentrating on giving fans memorable performances and showing their growth as artists.
While remaining tight-lipped about future releases, the singer hinted that ENGENEs have plenty to look forward to. “As of right now, we can’t say too much,” he teased. “But our next project is crazy, it’s another level.”
Jake admitted that the group has naturally experienced changes since Heeseung’s exit, but he also believes the shift has opened new creative possibilities. “There’s been changes, but there’s also been very good changes as well,” he said, adding that ENHYPEN’s upcoming music is going to be “very good.”
Reassuring fans, the members stressed that ENGENEs continue to be at the heart of everything they do. Echoing that sentiment, Jake said, “Our ENGENEs, that’s what we try to focus on, putting on the best performance for our fans.”
Sunghoon also shared that the group is working hard while building new memories together as they move forward into this new era.
Heeseung officially parted ways with ENHYPEN in March 2026 following discussions with BELIFT LAB about his future artistic direction. Shortly after the announcement, he addressed fans through an emotional letter on Weverse, explaining that the decision came after extensive conversations with the company and careful personal consideration.
In his message, Heeseung said he hoped to return to fans “in a better way” and emphasized that he never wanted his personal ambitions to come before the team. About a month later, he unveiled his solo identity, EVAN, marking the beginning of his independent career.
As ENHYPEN prepares to unveil its next chapter, the group appears focused on embracing change while continuing to strengthen its bond with fans around the world.
