Creativity can show up in places we least expect, and a viral video is proving that with a surprisingly simple object. A young boy has managed to turn a plain roadside stone into a working clock and somehow, into a huge profit. The clip has taken social media by storm for both the idea and the boy’s confidence while selling it.
In the short video, which was shared on Instagram, the boy experiments with a basic stone to see if he can make something valuable from it. The concept may look simple but the process and the reactions he gets have made people watch the clip again and again.
Boy Turns Stone Into A Clock
The video begins with the boy asking, “Kya pathar se paise kamaye ja sakte hai? (Can you earn money from a stone?).” He then takes a stone from a roadside
and takes it to a worker who cuts stone. The worker shapes the stone by carving out a square at the back and a hole in the front so that a clock machine can fit.
Once it is ready, the boy paints the stone. After the paint dries, the stone shines like a polished piece. He attaches the clock mechanism at the back and completes his creation.
First Attempt Doesn’t Go Well
The boy then takes the finished piece to Connaught Place in Delhi. Many people stop to look at it out of curiosity but after a point, most lose interest and assume the product is not genuine. He realises he needs to refine it further if he wants someone to actually buy it.
He upgrades the clock by adding a proper cover at the back so that it looks cleaner and more finished. With the improved version in hand, he returns to sell it again.
A Twist: Someone Actually Buys It For Rs 5,000
This time, a man stops to check the clock carefully. When he asks for the price, the boy confidently says it is Rs 5,000. The man agrees and buys it on the spot. The boy earns a profit of Rs 4,540 from something that originally cost him only Rs 460.
The side note read, “Pathar se paisa.”
