Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Becomes 2nd Batter In The World To Score Two IPL 50s In 15 Balls

15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is on fire for Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026 match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru. In the fixture taking place at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, the left-handed batter from Bihar has hammered a half-century in just 15 balls. He reached the 50-run mark by hitting Bhuvneshwar Kumar for a six on the third ball of the fifth over of RR’s innings in the 202-run chase. The 50 in 15 balls by Vaibhav on Friday is his second half-century in 15 balls for RR in this year’s IPL. In RR’s first match of IPL 2026, Sooryavanshi scored a 50 in 15 balls against Chennai Super Kings in Guwahati on March 30.

Sooryavanshi is the second batter in the world to score two IPL fifties in 15 or fewer balls. In the 2024 edition

of the IPL, Australia’s Jake Fraser-McGurk also scored two fifties in 15 balls for the Delhi Capitals.
