Hyderabad, Apr 16 (PTI) A case has been registered against an All India Services officer for allegedly harassing a senior woman officer living in his neighbourhood here following an argument over dog waste in a common area, police said on Thursday.
The incident occurred on April 13 at the official residential quarters in Banjara Hills.
The complainant, an officer in the telecom department, alleged that the Forest Department official abused her staff and made sexual remarks and obscene gestures towards her over the issue related to her pet dog.
The AIS officer has also been accused of damaging her flower pots, a police official said.
Based on the complaint, a case has been booked against the officer on charges of sexual harassment and under other
relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
