Dehradun, Jun 21 (PTI) NEET-UG re-examination was conducted in Uttarakhand on Sunday amidst tight security arrangements, officials said.
Officials said that the police had made stringent arrangements to ensure the safe, fair, and orderly conduct of the exam, which included continuous monitoring through the ‘State-level NTA Exam Control Room’ based in Dehradun.
Dehradun Senior Superintendent of Police Pramendra Singh Doval visited the 16 examination centres in the district to take stock of the security arrangements.
Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) was enforced within a 200-meter radius of the examination centres. Dehradun Additional District Magistrate Krishna Kumar Mishra had issued an order to this effect, following
instructions from the Director General of the National Testing Agency (NTA). PTI DPT MNK MNK
