New Delhi, Jun 2 (PTI) Aluminium prices marginally advanced by Rs 2.85 to Rs 395 per kilogram in futures trade on Tuesday amid firm global trends.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the most-active contract for June edged up by Rs 2.85, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 395 per kg in a business turnover of 4,383 lots.
Analysts said firm global trends and improved risk appetite in industrial metals supported aluminium prices.
In the global markets, Aluminium futures on the London Metal Exchange rose 1.01 per cent to USD 3,769.50 per tonne.
Market participants said easing geopolitical concerns and a softer US dollar improved sentiment across commodity markets, while expectations of stable industrial demand also aided gains in aluminium prices in the overseas
trade. PTI HG HG SHM SHM
