Zinc futures rise on higher demand

Delhi, Oct 26 (PTI) Zinc prices edged up 1.11 per cent to Rs 404.95 per kg in futures trade on Monday, tracking higher demand from market participants.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery rose Rs 4.45, or 1.11 per cent, to Rs 404.95 per kg, with a business turnover of 464 lots.

Traders attributed the rise in zinc futures to higher demand in the spot market. PTI DR DRR
