Rumours surrounding Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s much-speculated wedding continue to make headlines. Now, a new report has claimed that the staff working at the venue have been given strict instructions to remain completely phone-free during their shifts.
According to TMZ, employees at Madison Square Garden, which will be hosting the couple’s wedding celebration, have reportedly been told they cannot carry or use their phones while working. The publication cited employees at the venue as saying that they are not allowed to have their phones during their shifts. While the exact reason behind the rule has not been confirmed, sources reportedly believe it is aimed at preventing staff from taking photos or videos of the event setup or guests.
“They can’t have their phones during the shift,” one of the employees told the publication.
TMZ further reported that venue employees have also been given wristbands to wear and undergo an additional layer of security before entering the premises for work. More details about the wedding preparations are awaited.
