Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar has firmly established itself as one of Bollywood’s biggest blockbusters, ensuring that Hindi cinema ends 2025 on an emphatic high. The Aditya Dhar-directed film has shown extraordinary staying power at the box office, witnessing a massive surge during its second weekend and comfortably clearing the crucial second Monday test.
After an explosive run over the weekend, Dhurandhar continued its dream streak on Day 11. The film added an estimated ₹30 crore net in India on Monday, proving that audience interest remains exceptionally strong even after more than a week in theatres. With minimal drop and solid footfalls across key centres, the film is rewriting box office benchmarks.
Massive Weekend Pushes Film Past Rs 350 Crore
Dhurandhar enjoyed a phenomenal second Sunday,
minting ₹58 crore net in India. This helped the film wrap up its second weekend with a domestic collection of ₹143.50 crore. Notably, this marked a staggering 40% jump compared to its first weekend, an extremely rare feat for a big-budget Bollywood release.
Thanks to this surge, the film crossed the ₹350 crore net mark in India within just 10 days of release. According to trade estimates, Dhurandhar registered healthy occupancies on Monday as well, with morning shows at 22%, afternoon shows at 40%, and evening shows peaking at 51.17%. Given the scale of the film and the typical weekday trends, a drop of under 70% on the second Monday is being hailed as a major achievement.
With Monday’s collections added, Dhurandhar now stands at approximately ₹380 crore net in India. In the process, the film has surpassed Dangal’s Hindi domestic total of ₹374.43 crore, marking a significant milestone in box office history.
Ranveer Singh Film Enters All-Time Top 10 List
By the end of Day 11, Dhurandhar had cemented its position as the eighth-highest-grossing Bollywood film in the domestic market on the all-time list. The film now sits just behind major blockbusters like Dangal and Animal and has comfortably overtaken the lifetime collections of Sanju (₹342 crore), PK (₹341 crore), and Saiyaara (₹330 crore).
Dhurandhar stars Ranveer Singh as Hamza, an Indian spy who infiltrates the crime-ridden lanes of Pakistan’s Lyari to dismantle terror networks backed by the ISI. The film has been widely praised for its gritty storytelling and powerhouse performances, particularly by Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, and Rakesh Bedi. The ensemble cast also includes Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in pivotal roles.
