Actor Arjun Rampal wraps 'O Saathi Re'

New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Actor Arjun Rampal has wrapped shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s series “O Saathi Re”.

The Netflix series is created by Ali, who also serves as a showrunner. It is directed by Arif Ali and also features Aditi Rao Hydari and Avinash Tiwary, among others.

The actor shared the news with a post on his Instagram handle on Friday, which featured a group picture with Ali and other cast of the project. “Wrapped something very special, with some very talented people. Will miss you guys. Was lovely to be directed finally by my college friend @imtiazaliofficial #OsathiRe #Netflix,” he wrote in the caption.

Hydari also left a comment under the post. “Arjuuuuuuuuuuuun Thank you for being so effortlessly amaaaaaazing… always cheering for you,”

it read.

Rampal last featured in “Dhurandhar The Revenge”, where he essayed the role of Major Iqbal. The film was directed by Aditya Dhar and also starred Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi, among others.

It went on to earn over Rs 1000 crore at the global box office.

He will next feature in “Operation Ganga” alongside actors Mohanlal and Bhagyashri Borse. The film is directed by Vishnu Mohan and revolves around India’s evacuation mission launched to bring back Indian citizens, including thousands of students, who were stranded in Ukraine following the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war.

It is produced by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies. The music is composed by Shashwat Sachdev, with Shameer Mohammed serving as editor in the film. PTI ATR ATR ATR
