WWE Saturday Night Live: All eyes will be on Saturday Night’s Main Event as John Cena’s Farewell Tour reaches its final chapter with a blockbuster showdown against Gunther. This bout will mark Cena’s last appearance in WWE competition, closing the curtain on a legendary career that has defined an era. During his final year, Cena has revisited some of his most memorable rivalries, delivering marquee matches against Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, Sami Zayn, Logan Paul and others, highlighting his enduring star power.
Facing him will be Gunther, widely regarded as one of the most dominant Superstars of the modern era. A former World Heavyweight Champion and the longest-reigning Intercontinental Champion in history, “The
Ring General” earned this opportunity by winning The Last Time is Now Tournament. Gunther triumphed over Je’Von Evans, Carmelo Hayes, Solo Sikoa, and LA Knight to secure the right to face Cena in this fitting farewell clash.
Saturday Night’s Main Event promises a thrilling lineup featuring stars from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT. Bayley, one of NXT’s most celebrated alumni, will face rising NXT sensation Sol Ruca after their confrontation on the December 5 episode of SmackDown. Ruca, a former NXT Women’s North American and Speed Champion, brings momentum and her spectacular Sol Snatcher move into the clash. Additionally, World Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Dragon Lee will take on explosive newcomers Je’Von Evans and TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater.
